There was a time in your life when every day you spent hours poking and prodding your body, lifting up pieces of skin, and checking the smallest corners for any hint of animalistic qualities. Any sign that you weren’t just some boring human who was stuck living an ordinary life. You wanted to be like the kid who grew wings, the one who could hypnotize souls with a single octave, or even the one who had a penchant for music and dancing!

But when you wake up one day to the smell of burning flesh and the noises of people wasting their last few breaths on not saying goodbye to their loved ones, but screaming out in pain until their bodies is devoid of energy - you realize that maybe, your wish, in fact, wasn’t a beautiful desire but instead a dark and twisted path that was built on a mountain cliff that had tiny pebbles skidding off the edge whenever you moved. a desire that instead would have you praying and clinging to that sliver of normalcy that you once would kick and send towards a crumbled-up curb for the purpose of it getting drenched in water whenever a car drove by.

You realize that, now, you have what you always wanted, but at the cost of everything you once had.

The romance system is built to where you can gain or lose points based on actions, beliefs, and general conversations. Sometimes characters won’t appreciate you flirting with them mid-fight when both lives are at risk.

THE SPELLCASTER

Their the best roommate someone could ask for, unless, that someone has a problem with the constant attention and spellcasting. Dive deep into their individuality and maybe you'll find that the happiest people are always the saddest. Or maybe stop them from selling their powers for profit?

THE WEREWOLF

Sleazy, tired, and undoubtedly wears their heart in their music. Lead guitarist and lyricist for the band “The Howlers” who is always seen sitting around campus with headphones in and a sketchbook out. Mateo/Mattea Lupin is a grade-A wallflower, somehow always blending into the shadows and just being there. Get past the quiet demeanor and help them shine like the brightest star in the sky, and who knows, you might just have a few songs written about you.

THE PHOENIX

Standoff-ish, reckless, and a loner. You never know where Christie Diaz is. Their true form stays secret to others, the literal fire burning in their eyes is enough to send people scampering in the other direction. They don’t know how to react, how to tell others they aren’t as scary as they look. It comes off rude, and harsh, like a knife to a throat. Help them discover their emotions and what it means to be truly seen as a person, and maybe, they might let you in on that little secret everybody seems to be talking about.
